Breadcrumbs Use of Data

The only data we grab from your facebook account is your name, your profile photo & your contacts, so that we can suggest you follow your friends that are on Breadcrumbs! Breadcrumbs is a GPS location enabled app. This means that without access to your device location, our platform is limited in what it can provide you. We genuinely care about protecting this data, and use it only to customize your experience with Breadcrumbs so that we show you inspiration for experiences that are around you. If you would like more information about Breadcrumbs’ use of your personal data - please contact us at

Offers & Advertising

Breadcrumbs now features “Offers” and information that has been commercially provided to us. We are very anti over-commercialization of platforms such as Breadcrumbs - which is why not everyone will see every advertisement. We target ads to you based on what you enjoy and where you are - then we slap a bright pink border on the native advertising display so you are completely aware this is paid content.

If you see an “offer” with a button to “Claim” - this means you can save the offer to your profile, before “redeeming” it in-store/at point of booking for the nominated discount. Once you have “claimed” an offer, you will find it under the menu > Claimed offers tab. Be careful not to tap “redeem” until you are actually paying for or booking the offering - once you redeem, the offer is gone for good!
